The 30 day window

We have a 30 day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Starting a return

If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions and non returnable items

Certain items cannot be returned: perishable goods such as food, flowers or plants; custom products such as special orders or personalized items; and personal care goods such as beauty products. We also do not accept returns on hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases.

We cannot accept returns on clearance items, or on used karts and parts.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have, and once that return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

If your merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, the item must be in the same condition you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging, and you will need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund was approved. If it is approved, you will be refunded automatically on your original payment method within 10 business days. It can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Who we are

Ron White Racing, 7533 Paddon Road, Vacaville, CA 95688. When this policy says we or us, it means Ron White Racing. It covers ronwhiteracing.com, our online store and the forms we use for bookings, waivers and job applications.

What we collect

You give us: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and what you order. If you book track time you also give us driver details, which include a name, age, height, weight and gear sizes, and for a driver under 18 a parent or guardian name and signature on the waiver.

We collect automatically: device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site. This is standard web analytics and it is used in aggregate.

We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Card payments are handled by our payment processors, who hold the card details. We see the last four digits, the card brand and whether the payment succeeded.

If you apply for a job we collect what you put in the application and whatever is in the resume you send.

How we use it

• Filling orders, taking bookings, arranging track days and answering you
• Fitting safety gear correctly, which is why we ask for height, weight and sizes
• Meeting our obligations on waivers, insurance and event entries
• Sending you an email you asked for, such as an order update or a race calendar. Marketing email only if you opted in, and every one has an unsubscribe link
• Understanding which pages and adverts actually bring people to us
• Preventing fraud and abuse

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Cookies and tracking

The site uses cookies to keep your cart, keep you signed in and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though the cart and sign in will stop working properly if you do.

We honor Global Privacy Control signals. If your browser sends one, we treat it as an opt out of sharing for targeted advertising.

Confirm the exact analytics and advertising tools running on the store before publishing, and list them here by name.

How long we keep it

Order and booking records are kept for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and insurance purposes. Signed waivers are kept for as long as the applicable statute of limitations requires, because that is the entire point of them. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Job applications are kept for [PERIOD] unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email ronwhiteracing@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify who you are first.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable format, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

California rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to have it deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. You may exercise any of these rights by emailing ronwhiteracing@gmail.com, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.

You can also authorize somebody else to make a request for you, in which case we will ask for proof of that authorization.

Minors

Our site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them online. We do collect information about young drivers, which is provided by a parent or guardian as part of a booking or a waiver, and it is used only to run the event and fit safety equipment correctly. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.
